An employee of Dayspring Methodist Church commits to conduct themselves in a “trinity of trust:”

· Relational Trust: A staff member of Dayspring builds relationships with those in the church, intentionally invests in others, and resolves conflict in a Christ-centered manner.

Open Positions

Nursery Caregiver

• The Nursery caregiver role is all about creating a safe, fun, and caring environment for children aged 6 weeks- 2 years old on Sunday mornings. Caregivers' hours are from 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. with one Sunday off a month and they should be at least 18 years of age.  While in the nursery they'll spend time playing, talking, and teaching simple lessons while building strong relationships with both children and their parents. The job also includes keeping the space clean and organized, working well with other team members, and following guidelines to keep everyone safe. Being dependable, friendly, and a good communicator is important, along with completing training and passing a background check.

How to Support Dayspring Staff

As members of the church, if you feel specially called to support our staff as a whole or an individual staff member, please call the church office or reach out to Pastor Rusty. Ways that you can support our staff daily:

• Be in prayer for our staff and our church. We need the Lord’s anointing on all we do in the life of our community.

• Offer notes and words of encouragement to our church staff - you might be surprised to find out that professional ministry can be incredibly challenging and isolating, and simple words of encouragement go a long way.

• Offer to serve in someone’s ministry. Volunteers are the lifeblood of the church (besides Jesus, obviously), and it means a lot to have someone reach out and offer to volunteer!
